Mr. Harry Andrews was born October 29, 1929 in Wayne County, TN to the union of the late Charlie and Bonnie Lee Andrews. Mr. Andrews was a Production Supervisor at Murray Ohio until he retired, and then enjoyed doing carpentry wood work and painting. He was united in marriage to Betty Ruth on August 26, 1950. Mrs. Andrews preceded him in death on November 12, 2017.
He was a member of the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, TN and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Andrews departed this life on June 20, 2019 in Waynesboro, Tennessee making his stay in this life some 89 Years, 7 Months and 22 Days.
He is survived by a daughter, Regina Andrews Frederick and husband Larry of Sevierville, TN; two sons, Michael Andrews of Waynesboro, TN; and Matthew Andrews and fiancee Christy Hensley of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Margie Stooksberry of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Andrew Frederick and wife Sara of Nashville , TN, Bradford Frederick of Spring Hill, TN; and Cory Andrews and wife Hannah of Iron City, TN; and a great-grandchild, Reed Tyler Andrews of Iron City, TN.
In addition to his wife of 67 years and parents, Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by three brothers, Etah Todd Andrews, Doyle Andrews, Howard Andrews; a sister, Marlene Moore; and a grandchild, Zachary Tyler Andrews.
Services will be held on June 24, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Collinwood, Tennessee with Military Honors.
