TVA’s Regional Energy Resource Council to Meet in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, TN ̶   Members of the public interested in the current and future direction of the Tennessee Valley Authority’s energy-related activities, including the 2019 Integrated Resource Plan, are invited to attend an upcoming public working session of the Regional Energy Resource Council in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27.

The 20-member RERC includes representatives from throughout the Tennessee Valley and advises TVA leadership on the management and development of energy-related issues and priorities.

The working session takes place from 12:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EDT on June 26 and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EDT on June 27 at The Read House Hotel, 107 West MLK Boulevard, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37402.

The RERC will hear opinions and views of citizens during a public session starting at 5 p.m. EDT lasting up to one hour, on Wednesday, June 26. Persons wishing to speak are requested to register at the door between 12:45 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., and will be called on during the public session. To allow more interested individuals to participate, a time limit on comments may be required. Written comments are also invited and may be mailed to the Regional Energy Resource Council, Tennessee Valley Authority, 400 West Summit Hill Drive, WT-9D, Knoxville, TN 37902.
