TUSCUMBIA-The public is invited to attend a Retirement Reception for longtime Tennessee Valley Art Association Director Mary Settle Cooney. The reception is hosted by the Tennessee Valley Art Association Board and will be held Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 2-4 pm at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art, 511 N. Water Street in Tuscumbia. Mrs. Cooney is retiring this month after 39 years directing the Arts Association. The Board invites everyone to join us in thanking Mrs. Cooney for decades of excellent, passionate, innovative and wise leadership. Anyone wishing to honor Mrs. Cooney may do so by making a donation in her honor to the Tennessee Valley Arts Association Foundation.
