Hattie Waddell Prince

Mrs. Hattie Waddell Prince, 99 of Hartselle, passed away Friday June 14, 2019 at her home.  Mrs. Prince was born in Hartselle on July 5, 1919 to Molly and Polk Waddell. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother; she loved all of her family and was an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Nathan Alexander Prince, son Stephen Douglas Prince and grandson Jason Prince.

She is survived by three sons William Elbert Prince, Billy Oneal Prince (Betty) and Kenneth Wayne Prince; three daughters Wilma Depreast, Wanda Boyd and Nathalyne Cucarola; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Prince had an illustrious career. She was the manager of VJ Elmore in Hartselle and retired from North Alabama Council of Government (NARCOG) at the age of 92.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 17 at 12 PM in the chapel of Peck Funeral Home with Wendell Prince officiating. Interment will follow in Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Hartselle. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
