Carlton Wayne Black, age 63, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 following an extended illness.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Randy Hargett officiating. Burial will be at Belgreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Black, Jerry Landers, Cody Black, Jeramy Black, Nicky Taylor, Tommy Landers, Bruce Daily, and Bruce Lee Daily. The honorary pallbearers will be Bob Black and Eddie Daily.
Wayne was a lifelong member of Frankfort Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from Franklin Electric Co-operative. Wayne loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and friend.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Christopher Black, Stephen Black, Benjamin Black; daughter, Kimberly Peppers; grandchildren, Sophia Black, Lily Black; brother, Danny Black (wife, Vickie); and 10 nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Black; mother, Elsie Daily Black; father, William Clifton Black; and brothers, David Black and Phillip (Joe) Black.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
