Gary Thomas Shannon, age 71 of Huntsville passed away June 10, 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years Jayne L. Shannon; son Mark Thomas Shannon; sister Kathie Cogley; grandson Zachery Shannon.
He was preceded in death by his parents George Tomas and Helen Melda Shannon and one sister Verla Bradian.
He was a native of Sharon, PA, and a resident of Madison County since 1966. He was a member of the Huntsville House of Prayer, and a member of the SOAR, retired from Dunlop Tire, and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church Wednesday Prayer Team.
There will be a Memorial service at Huntsville House of Prayer, 2105 Mastin Lake Road Suite N, Huntsville, AL 35810, on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clearview Cancer Institute of Huntsville.
