Emma Jean Campbell, age 84, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, June 09, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center.
Mrs. Campbell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend. She was the best grandmother anyone could have ever asked for. She was a member at Bethlehem Baptist Church. She worked for years as a nurse for Russellville Hospital, Dr. Terry office, and Russellville Health Care
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Frank Chaney and Bro. Roger Martin. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Ellen Patrick (husband Jimmy); grandchildren, Chris Fisher, Ashley Slatton (husband, Jeff), Haylee Patrick; great-grandchildren, Harlee Fisher, Aaron Fisher, Brittany Hubbard; and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Preston Campbell of 40 years; daughter, Sandra Fisher; grandson, Jon Adam Fisher; son in law, Terrell Fisher; parents, George & Clara Ellen (Carpenter) Hutchins; sisters, Judy Coats, Betty Murray; and brother, Donald Hutchins.
The pallbearers are Jeff Slatton, Aaron Fisher, Jimmy Larimore, David Patrick, Mark Mitchell, and Tim Murray. The honorary pallbearers are the Class of 1953 of Russellville High School.
The family wants to extend a special thanks to the faculty and staff of Russellville Hospital, Terrace Manor, and North Alabama Medical Center.
