Funeral service for Eleanor W. Bishop age 92 of Hartselle will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 3:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Michael Gunter officiating with burial in the Corinth Methodist Cemetery at Battleground with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bishop, who was born October 5, 1926 in Lawrence County to Luther Winsett and Ruby Farris Winsett, died on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester Arthur Bishop, was a member of the West End United Methodist Church, had worked at Wal-Mart as a greeter and loved to quilt and sew.
She is survived by 2 sons; Jerry Bishop (Donna), Lester Bishop (Jennifer), by 2 daughters; JoAnn Congo and Carolyn McGehee (Steve), a brother; Cecil Winnett, 14 Grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren
Chester Bishop, Bill Bishop, Frank Bishop, Andy Bishop, Marlin Cobb and Marty Pearson Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
