Funeral services for Judy Kunkle Ellenburg, 59, of Lineville will be held Wednesday June 12, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Bro. Mike Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay County Memory Gardens.

 

Ms. Ellenburg passed away Sunday June 9, 2019 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida, was a former resident of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Enterprise before moving to Clay County where she had been employed with the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a food inspector. Judy’s passion was caring for others. She had a servant’s heart and loved to take care of the elderly which she had done for nearly 20 years. She ultimately lived her life for her children and grandchildren. Judy also enjoyed traveling, embroidery, and cooking. She genuinely loved people and was known for her servant’s heart.

 

Survivors include her children; Ashley Vincent, and Chris Kunkle (Stephanie) of Lineville; five-grandchildren; Peighton Kunkle, Briley Denney, Kohen Vincent, Morris Reid Machen, Brantleigh Ridge Machen, one sister; Alice Trivitt of Mountain Home, Arkansas, one brother; Carl Kunkle (DeAnna) of Adairsville, Georgia, a host of nieces, nephews, a large extended family and her dog Zeke.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; John Morris “Jack” Kunkle and Josie Jensen Kunkle and one brother; Donald Jack Kunkle.

 

Pallbearers will be: Carl Kunkle, Scott Edwards, Marshall Lawson, Wade Griffith, Danny Yates, and Garrett Yates.

 

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 5:30 to 8 P.M. and until service time on Wednesday.
