Frances Marie Camberos Adkins age 75 passed away at her home.
She was born March 23, 1944 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Savino Cambera and Geneva Virginia Johnson Camberos. She went to school in West Virginia and graduated from High school. She married John Carson Adkins of Huntingdon, WV. They made their home and raised their children in Chicago, IL. They moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL and then to Henderson. Mr. Adkins died July 23, 2007. She was a Catholic in faith.
She loved to read any book, sewing, crafts and puzzles. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Adkins is survived by two sons, John Adkins, Jr. of Henderson and Shannon Adkins (Lisa) of West Palm Beach, FL, two daughters, Tina Adkins of Henderson and Cindy Napoli (John) of Henderson; grandchildren, Rachel Napoli (Dillon Heidelberg), Brian Napoli (Brittni Pearson), Ashley Adkins, Haley Adkins, Kendall Adkins and Brooke Adkins and one great grandchild, Brock Napoli; two brothers, Tabias Perez (Vivian) of Franklin, TN and Michael Laurinaitis, IN and three sisters, Jeddy Barnes of Henderson, Dottie Bell of Michie and Barbara Ottinger of Paltine, IL.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main with Anthony Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Sunday.
