Funeral service for Lucille “Cille” Lackey, 81, will be Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nicky Pressnell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lackey died on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born January 25, 1938, in Morgan County to Charles Luther Clemmons and Jane Marie Slaten. She was a homemaker, loving wife, caring mother and grandmother and a fine christian lady. She ironed clothes for people in her home for 60 years and had a home day care for 42 years. Preceding her in death were her husband: Herman Lackey and her parents.
