Daniel Posey, age 76, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Russellville Hospital.
Daniel was a hardworking man, who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren very much. His grandchildren describe Daniel as their mentor, hero, and everything in between. He was a one of a kind contractor, always working hard at everything he did. His love for family and hardworking ethics is quite a legacy left behind for his family.
His visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the adjourning chapel. Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, RC Posey; mother, Mary (Matlock) Vandiver; and his brothers and sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Ruby Mills Posey; sons, Darryl Posey (wife, Sandy), Kenneth Posey; grandchildren, Shawn Posey (wife, Tiffany), Kyle Posey (wife, Alisha), Jamie West (husband, Eric); great-grandchildren, Kirstyn Posey, Keagan Posey, Colton West, Brooklyn West; and several nieces & nephews.
