Patti Lea Fredericksen, 54, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on May 22, 2019 at her home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, in Athens, Alabama. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Patti was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 20, 1964. She graduated from Valley High School in 1983. Patti was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and relocated to Athens, Alabama in 2003. Patti graduated from Athens State University in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
Patti was married to Mark Harold Fredericksen on March 7, 1987. Patti was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Patti is survived by her three daughters, Jordan Fredericksen and son-in-law Joel Marbut of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Gabrielle Fredericksen of Athens, Alabama, and Karli Fredericksen of Pooler, Georgia; her grandson McCoy Greer Marbut; her mother Lillie Gresham of Athens, Alabama, her sister Cheryl Moore and brother-in-law John Moore of Athens, Alabama, and her brother Michael Gresham of Las Vegas, Nevada. Patti was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Harold Fredericksen.
Inspiring children was one of Patti’s greatest gifts. Her influence will live on through those she taught. Patti’s bright spirit, generous heart and love for laughter will be forever cherished.
