John Howard Cummings III, age 63, of Guntersville passed away Thursday May 16, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Cummings served forty two years of service between the United States Army and Department of Defense. He enjoyed traveling overseas as well as loved gardening and his dogs. He was also a member of the civitans.

Mr. Cummings is survived by his loving wife of forty four years Barbara Cummings whom he was very devoted to.
Son; Michael Patrick Cummings (Kimberly), Grandaughters; Katharyne Cummings, Annabel Cummings, Tara Cummings, Brother; Charles Michael Cummings, Sisters; Gayl Buchanan, and Jeannie Cummings.
Services for Mr. Cummings will be announced at a later date.
