Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Kirby Pierce Sanders, age 35, of Winchester. Mr. Sanders passed from this life on Saturday April 27, 2019 at his home. Kirby was a 2002 graduate of Franklin County High School and was employed by Dexter Axle Company as a machine operator. Kirby will be remembered as a man with good taste in clothing, his love for his family and friends, music, movies, video games, and riding his bike. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joe Ray Hicks and his paternal grandmother, Pretty B. McElroy. He leaves to cherish his memory and mourn his passing his mother and father, Randolph and Joyce Ann Hicks Sanders of Winchester; maternal grandmother, Rosavell Hicks of Fredrick, OK.; brothers, Kelly (Billie) Brandon Sanders and Ty Clinton Sanders; two nieces and two nephews. The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home on Friday, May 3, 2019 between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019 with Rev. Scott Jones of the Belvidere First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Watson-North Memorial Park with friends and family members serving as pallbearers.
