Joyce Faye Lozada, age 80 of Athens, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Lozada was born December 16, 1938 in Limestone County to Buford Lee Miller and Costella Barnes Miller.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lozada will be Friday, May 3, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Danny Butler officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bobby Miller and Larry Miller; great grandchild, Lucas Hagood.
She is survived by her husband, Francisco Lozada; children, Janet Gunter (James), Richard Hagood, Pam Barron (Doug), Ted Hagood and Joey Lozada (Michelle); grandchildren, Heather Gunter, Michael Gunter, Jamie Hagood (Kristen), Brandi Proctor (Billy), Nick Keenum (Ronna), Haley Hagood, Emily McDaniel (Scott), Hunter Hagood, Emma Lozada, Eric Lozada and Xavier Lozada; great grandchildren, Lexi Hagood, Lauren Hagood, Login Griffin, Kynsleigh Griffin, Gabby Keenum and Brayden Keenum; siblings, Edith Waddell (Talmadge), Ray Miller, Wayne Miller (Karen) and Wanda Butler (Danny).
Pallbearers will be Michael Gunter, Billy Miller, Spence Miller, Nick Keenum, Jamie Hagood and Hunter Hagood. Honorary Pallbearer is Eric Lozada.
