Marvin O’Donnell, 95, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Mr. O’Donnell is survived by his wife of 76 years, Evelyn O’Donnell; children, Sandra Hayes (Larry) and Stan O’Donnell (Martha); grandchildren, Melissa Engelkemier, Amy Ruff, Daniel O’Donnell and Katie Jett; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was a WWII veteran, serving in the European Theater of Operation. Born in St. Clair County, he resided in Huntsville for most of his life, and retired from MSFC.
Visitation will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 30 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will follow in the chapel with Mark Smith officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
