Funeral service for Daniel Blake Layton, 25 of Hartselle will be Sunday, April 28, 2019 at New Friendship Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Smothers officiating with burial in the Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Peck Funeral Home. He will lie in state 1 Hr. at the church. Mr. Layton died on Thursday April 25, 2019 at Decatur-Morgan Hospital. He was born September 10, 1993 in Morgan County to Brandon Michael Lott and Regina Michelle Layton Lott. Daniel was a Member of New Friendship Baptist Church and a believer in Jesus Christ. He was baptized on September 8, 2013. He was a 2012 graduate of Priceville High School and was the 20011-2012 football manager for Priceville Bulldogs. He also graduated from Space Camp and won outstanding trainee for the camp. He loved books and Video games. He was preceded in death by his Great-Grandfather Bobby Layton and an Uncle Nick Poss.
