Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Wilma G. Wallace, age 91, are scheduled for 12 pm, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Center Ridge Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wallace passed away early Friday in Jackson. She was born April 28, 1927 in Henderson County to the late Hulon and Etta Woods Franklin. She was a retired seamstress at Lexington Apparel, was a member of Center Ridge Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening, making quilts, and life on the farm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Robert Audean Wallace; a brother, Powell Franklin; and a sister, Betty Jo Middleton. Survivors include her two daughters, Janet McCaslin (Mark) and Beverly Holmes (Bobby); two sisters, Permelia Wallace and Sue Garner; three grandchildren, Shane Holmes (Nicole), Brian Holmes (Angie), and Amanda Mahaffey (Wayne); six great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to Center Ridge Methodist Church.
