Graveside service for Sara (O’Bryant) “Sally” Pepper, age 91, of Geneva, will be Sunday, April 28, 2019, 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery, Decatur, with Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to service.

Sally left this earthly world on the morning of April 18, 2019, with her daughters by her side. She was born August 6, 1927, in Tallassee to Shalor O’Bryant and Evangeline Spiegel O’Bryant Nolan. To the many of you who knew her, you know she “danced her way into Heaven.” She retired from Prestolite, and was a passionate member of The Decatur Emblem Club #127. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Mike and Pat.

She is survived by two daughters, Teresa and Joni (Jeanne), and a son of her heart, Ernest Holley (Brenda); two brothers, Thomas and John O’Bryant; three granddaughters, Kylie, Sunny, and Holly; one grandson, Jay Michael; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Her greatest joy was that of being Granny or Gran to her grandchildren. She also leaves behind a multitude of beloved family members and a host of forever friends whom she loved with her whole heart, and always unconditionally.

Sally was a friend to all she met along her life’s journey, and always left a huge impact wherever she went. Her tiny little person is irreplaceable and will be greatly missed.

Rest easy and in peace, Momma, until we are together again. You are loved.
