Walter Lee Rush, age 71, of Carbon Hill, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with burial at Guthrie Cemetery.
Mr. Rush was preceded in death by his Mom-Audie Garner Rush; Dad-Robert Rush; Brothers-Albert Rush, Jack Rush, Henry Lloyd Rush and Wayne Rush; Wife-Rhonda Sarajane Rush.
He is survived by his Daughter-Millie Leighann Owens of Jasper; Son-Ronnie Rush of Jasper; Sisters-Reathe Alexander and Dorothy Hudson of Carbon Hill; Brother-Alfred Rush of Carbon Hill; Special Friend-Faye Wingo; 7 Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Wingo, Wayne Wingo, Tommy Atkins, Rayburn Garner, Bobby Garner and Michael Owens.
