Valerie Ann Jones Murphy, age 37 of Florence, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Her family will receive friends Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dennis Wellington officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Valerie was preceded in death by her husband, Timmy Murphy; mother, Wanda Lynn Jones; sister, Deanna Jones; aunts, Sue “Sue Sue” Rowe, Pauline Holmes, Rose Rowe and Mary Wellington.
Survivors include her father, Delmar Ray Jones and step mother, Janice Jones of Florence; daughters, Darryl-Anne Jones (Justin Stotts), of Florence, Reagan Bumgart of Muscle Shoals; sister, DeJuana Jones of Florence, granddaughter, MawMaw’s “Punkin”, Brantliee Stotts and nephew, Ralph Egee IV.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
