Bonnie McDonald-Grisham, 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of the Shoals area. She worked as an LPN and an Election Poll Worker. She was a member of the Helen Keller Garden Club and Woodward Avenue Baptist Church. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Grisham; son, Carl “Bubba” (Leanne) McDonald; and eight brothers and sisters.
Her survivors include her sons, Ronnie (Martha) McDonald of Killen and Jimmy (Charlotte) McDonald of Lexington; daughters, LeAnn (David) Thomas of Madison and Melody (Mike) Smith of Florence; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Rosanne Gasque for being a dear friend for many years.
Visitation was Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service followed at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tom Phillips officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Pallbearers were Alex McDonald, Jimmy McDonald, Dave Thomas, Mike Smith, Blake Woolley and Houston Thornton.
