Funeral service for Roseine Borden Nelson, 79, will be Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Manly, Bro. Stanley Linderman and Rev. Shane Newton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Roseine Borden Nelson went to her eternal home on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. She was born Sunday, December 3, 1939, in Lawrence County to Charlie Odis Borden and Henry Ethel Blankenship Borden, who preceded her in death.
Roseine was a 1958 graduate of Lawrence County High School. She was a faithful member of Walden Chapel Baptist Church for the majority of her life. She loved her Saviour, her family and friend. She lived her life as a faithful Christian and was the finest example of how a Christian should live. She was an active and dedicated church member. Through the years, she taught Sunday School classes, discipleship training classes, VBS and so much more. Her faith was deeply rooted in her Lord and she was a mighty prayer warrior. Words cannot express how much this sweet, precious, lady will be missed. Heaven gained such a beautiful, sweet soul. Her life on this earth has impacted many and her testimony will live on.
Her children would like to thank Alacare Hospice for the wonderful care given to their mother. They would also like to Thank everyone for their prayers and support during her illness.
She was the loving precious mother of: a Son: James Ray Nelson (Linda),
two Daughters: Kristie Clemons (Hershel), Patsy Chell,and one preceding daughter: Pamela Nelson Lucas, one Sister: Christin Hall (Marvin).
She was the loving precious grandmother of Lashe Cagle (Keith), Jason Nelson, Cody Clemons (Emily), Austin Clemons, Chelsea Clemons, Megan Herchenhahn (Teddy), and the Great Grandmother of Abby McDonald, Nathan Cagle, Makala Cagle and Brantley Clemons. All of whom were the light of her life.
She was also preceded in death by her Brothers: Herman Borden and an infant brother and two sisters: Ruby Lee Wood and Helen Borden.
Pallbearers will be Hershel Clemons, Cody Clemons, Austin Clemons, James Nelson, Teddy Herchenhahn and Keith Cagle.
