Audie B. Hill Adair

–of Hillsboro, Alabama- Audie Adair (93 years old) went to heaven on Palm Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Audie was born on November 15, 1925 in Lawrence County. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and loved it dearly.

She is survived by her daughter Cindy Adair Kelso (Steve Kelso), her son-in-law Ralph Burnett (Marynell), her grandsons Anthony Burnett (Suzanne), Jeffrey Kelso (Elizabeth), and her granddaughter Emily Kelso Dunlap (Jon). Her great-grandchildren Thomas and Olivia Burnett, Chloe and Piper Kelso, and Lincoln and Grant Dunlap. Her sister Jeanette Reed (Billy), Tula Bracken (Arnold), Hermione Babber, her brothers Leon Hill (Ora Dean), Harce Hill (Melba), and a host of niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Adair, her daughter Connie Adair Burnett, her parents Riley and Pairlee Hill, her sisters Carolyn Claborn, Loretta Green, Aaron Terry, and her brothers, Coy Hill, Pleas Hill, and Charles Hill.

A special thanks to Decatur- Morgan Hospital fourth floor nurses and assistants and Southern Care Hospice for their kindness.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Burnett, Jeffrey Kelso, Ralph Burnett, Jon Dunlap, Chris Bracken, Mitch Claborn, Zachary Owens, and Mark Hill.

Arrangements: Visitation will be April 16, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Ridout’s Brown Service with the funeral at 10:00 on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 there as well. Bro. Steve Kelso and Bro. Chris Godbey will be officiating.
