Dennis James Tibbs, age 64, of Jasper, AL, went home to be the Lord on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at New Prospect Cemetery. John W. Autrey will officiate.
Dennis is preceded in death by his Parents-Mr. and Mrs. Eston and Lola (Blackmon) Tibbs.
He was dearly loved by his wife, Susan of 34 years, daughter, Whitney Vanzant (Kenny) and son, Wesley James Tibbs. Sisters, Joann Clements (Jimmy) and Vicki Tibbs, brother, Travis Tibbs (Rita) and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was born and raised in Corner, AL and graduated from Corner High School. His favorite past time was spending time with his family and gardening. His laughter brought joy to everyone he knew.
