Carolyn Sue Poston, age 73, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Friday, April 05, 2019 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Sue was a member of Quinn Memorial Church of Christ. She had several jobs over the years, from Distinctive Designs, Clark Pulley, driving the Nacolg bus, and working as a home health worker. She was a woman who had a big heart, loving her husband, children, and grandchildren very much. She had a love for all animals, especially her cats. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 07, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, April 08, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating the service will be Bro. Lonnie Oldag and Bro. Larson Plyler. Burial will be at East Franklin Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin & Ruth Williams; siblings, Quinice Williams, Quinton Williams, Odessa McCluskey Simpson, Ray Williams, and Jack Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 50 years, Raymond Poston; sons, Marvin Heath Poston (wife, Michelle), Anthony Poston (wife, Martha), Kevin Poston; grandchildren, Blake Poston, River Poston, Scarlet Poston, Lucy Poston, Caroline Poston, Hayden Kelly; great-grandchild, Asher Poston; and a host of nieces & nephews.
