Arrangements for Mrs. Annie Idella (Long) Bishop, age 83, of Decatur, will be announced by Shelton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bishop, who died Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at River City Center, was born November 6, 1935, in Morgan County to Hubert Clifton Long and Emma Frances Wallace Long. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bishop, one son, Michael Edward Bishop, and one sister, Katherine Long. Mrs. Bishop was an LPN who worked at Baugh, Wiley, Smith Hospital, Decatur General Hospital, and River City Center (Sunbridge).
She is survived by one son, Jerryl Bishop of Decatur; one daughter, Linda C. Graham (Hyrd) of Hartselle; three sisters, Peggy Cartee of Decatur, Brenda Taylor of Hartselle, and Sherry Long of Decatur; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
