Christopher Lucas King, age 23, passed away March 27, 2019. He was a kind, gentle and caring man who loved life. The greatest joy of Lucas’ life was being a father. He enjoyed working to restore his grandfather’s pickup truck which was passed down to him by his father. Lucas also had a deep love for his dog Violet Jane. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Luther King, Ruby King and Joyce Campbell. Lucas is survived by his parents Larry and Paula King; wife, Morgan King; daughter, Drew Jordyn King; brother Larry Douglas King II; sisters, Taylor Danielle King (Adam), Katlyn Breanna King Sims (Jacob); grandfather, Paul Campbell, Sr. and his niece, Caroline Jane Sims. Funeral Services will be at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora, AL. Visitation from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2019. Funeral Service 11:00 am Tuesday, April 2, 2019 with burial following in Shangahi Cemetery, Quinton, AL.
