Karen Thrasher
August 23, 1963 – March 24, 2019
Melinda left to be with the Lord on March 24, 2019. She leaves behind her son Daniel (Sonya) Lamb and their two children Lucas and Ethan, her daughter Sean Lamb and son Jeff, her Mom Manyla, sister Terri (Toby) Martin and two nephews Brandon and Christian, her brother Tim Thrasher (Sheila), special friends Robert and George, and numerous extended family and friends. Melinda was preceded in death by her father Charles Thrasher and brother Alan Thrasher, both her maternal and paternal grandparents, WJ Daniel (Effie) and Ozell (Jewel) Thrasher.
Melinda was truly one of the most compassionate people you could ever meet. Over the years she was a caregiver to many not only in her profession as a nurse but also in her private life. She is profoundly missed. In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask that you make a donation to the charity of your choice, be kind to someone in honor of Melinda, and tell your family you love them while they are still with you. The family will hold a small private celebration of life at a later date to be announced.
