Susie Artie Vee Hallman Baker, age 72, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Susie Artie Vee was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church. She loved her husband, her children, and her grandchildren, but first and foremost, she loved her Lord. She loved to hunt and fish with her family and enjoyed taking vacations with them. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
The visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ed Jordan officiating the service. Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Virgle Hugh-B Baker; son, Chris Wade Baker; and parents, William Emanuel & Clois Laladeen Hallman.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Daran Baker (LaGeita Steward), Thomas Baker (wife, Tina); grandchildren, Chasity Lee-Anne Baker, Auston Baker, Darrel Baker, Sharon Baker Bonds, Breonna Baker Hill, Cody Wayne Cotham, Brett Lee Cotham; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Hallman, Douglas Hallman; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The pallbearers will be Auston Baker, Cody Cotham, Shane Borden, Jason Bray, Heath Frederick, Jeremy Baker, and Steve Eston.
The family would like to thank everyone for your prayers, visits, and acts of kindness during this time.
