Carolyn Sue Nicholson, age 71 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away March 18, 2019.
Carolyn was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church, Haleyville.
Visitation is Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Funeral service is Friday, March 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church- Haleyville (lie in state at the church from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.) with Dr. Ron Horton to officiate the service. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her children; Tanya (Gill) Galloway and Phillip (Beth) Nicholson; grandchildren, Nicole Galloway, Jason Galloway, Taylor Nicholson, Casey Galloway, Elizabeth Nicholson and William Nicholson; mother, Vernice Phillips; sister, Debbie (Bill) Riddle; nieces, Jennifer (Chris) Jones and Laura (Adam) Carter; great niece, Nadia ; great nephew, Noah; a host of Nicholson family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Nicholson; father, Earnest Phillips; nephew, Micha Ray Jones.
