Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Skyline Church of God with Rev. Mickey Skipper officiating. Interment will follow at Skyline Cemetery. She will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Nathan Smith, Tyler Smith, Dewayne Woodall, Philip Woodall, Dusty Mason, Josh Smith, Jeremy Gamble, and Daryl Gamble.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Gary (Bethany) Smith, Jannis (Dennis) Woodall, Debbie (Mark) Mason, Terry Smith, and Tony (Wilma) Smith; grandchildren, Darla (Jerry Clay) Smith, Nathan (Jennifer) Smith, Tyler (Katie) Smith, Dewayne (Casey) Woodall, Philip Woodall, Dusty (Beth Ann) Mason, Stephanie (Jeremy) Johnson, Josh (Amy) Smith, Jeremy (Samantha) Gamble, Kristy (Scott) Gudger, Daryl (Valerie) Gamble, Karissa Grider, and Alicia Grider; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Clifford (Lois) Little; and a sister, Rhonda McGee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Walter Smith; daughter, Janessa (Rayford) Grider; and parents, Curtis and Maddie Jane Little.
