Gerry Dewane Rice, age 71, of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Lee Aaron will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Rice was preceded in death by his Sons-Phillip Jason Rice and Lance Dewayne Rice; Son-in-law-Joey Slaten; Father-Norman Rice; Mother-Margaret Rice; Brother-Steven Rice; Sister-in-law-Debra Rice.
He is survived by his Wife-Rebecca Aaron Rice; Daughter-Lora Slaten; Sister-Shelia Williams (Marshall); Grandchild-Gavin Slaten.
Pallbearers will be Larry Burton, Brit Minor, Rick Aaron, Doyle Bailey, Mike Aaron and Randy Aaron.
