Imogene Smith, age 83 of Primm Springs, TN passed away March 9, 2019. Imogen was a member of First Baptist Church in Fairview. She enjoyed painting in her free time. Mrs. Imogene devoted her life to her family and education, she retired with Williamson County Schools, 16 years of educating was at Pinewood Elementary School. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Weldon Smith and parents, Dealvin “D.A.” and Maggie Hemphill Slayton. Survived by her sons, James “Dusty” Weldon Smith, Jr, Douglas Alan Smith and Bryan “Scott” Smith; brother, Charles (Esten) Slayton; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caris Hospice.
