August 8, 1938 – March 6, 2019.

His visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Leonard Franks officiating. He will be buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.

Reverend Bud was a Missionary Baptist preacher for 54 years. He was a farmer, CDL truck driver, heavy equipment operator, and mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Gail Hamm; son, Jefferson Terry Hamm; parents, Jeff and Annie Mae Hamm; brothers, Leon and Jimmy Hamm; and sisters, Lurleen Thrasher and Sue Thompson.

He is survived by his children: Vickie Holt (Randy), Sherrie Newton (Robert), Teresa Craig (Derrick Willingham), and David Hamm (Bobbie); 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Eva Wallace and Lavern Castle.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons: Randolph Speegle, Dillon Green, Christian Speegle, Bradley Cole, Tyler Willis, and Shane Holt. Honorary pallbearers will be all his grandkids and great-grandkids whom he loved dearly.
