Mr. Rickey Ray Watkins, age 67, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Friday evening, March 1, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center.
The family will celebrate his life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
Rickey was born on January 24, 1952 in Marshall County and was the son of the late William Curtis “Bobby” Watkins and the late Mary Virgie Toone Watkins. He retired in 2003 from ICP in Lewisburg. His family described him as having a heart of gold. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brothers: Mike (Edith) Watkins of Lewisburg, Jerry (Donna) Watkins of Lewisburg, Bobby (Nancy) Watkins of Hohenwald, Jimmy Watkins of Columbia; sisters: Patsy (Bill) Brown of Olive Branch, MS, Catha Reese of Columbia, Sandy (Richard) Fleck of Cornersville, Becky Peete of Lewisburg, Millie (Marty) Middleton of Lewisburg, Sharon (Tommy) Hargrove of Lewisburg; and many nieces and nephews.
