Nannette Stockton Yarn, 88, died this past Monday, February 25, 2019. A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Mrs. Yarn graduated from Holton-Arms in Washington, D.C., and the University of Alabama. She was a member of the Huntsville Garden Club, the Symphony Guild, and the Grace Club Auxiliary. She was a founder of the Randolph School and served on numerous other civic and charitable committees during her lifetime, including as chair of the Republican Women of Madison County and president of the Madison County Medical Society Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Presh Yarn; daughters, Nannette Flournoy Hutchens, Hollis Hutchens Volk, and Leedy Stockton Laughlin; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Nativity on March 1, 2019, at 3:00 pm with Rector Michael Goldsmith officiating.
