Mr. Dennis Avery Swafford, age 72 of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. He was born July 19, 1946 to Norman and Emma Jean Swafford in Huntsville. Mr. Swafford is retired from the Huntsville Fire Department with 33 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Swafford; brother, Chuck Swafford (wife Suzanne); sisters, Janice Holt and Lisa White; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at Spry Funeral Home with Tim Orbison officiating. Interment will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
