Mr. Paul Edward “Pee Wee” Riggins, age 69, husband of Joyce Kelley Riggins, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 5:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Roberts officiating. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 2-5:30 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Maury County, Pee Wee was born on August 9, 1949 and was the son of the late William Riggins and the late Pearl Mencer Riggins. He worked 27 years as a mechanic for the City of Columbia before retiring in 2006. He was a farmer who enjoyed raising goats, chickens, ducks, and peacocks. Pee Wee was a devoted husband to his wife of 48 ½ years, Joyce Kelley Riggins.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Robert Riggins of Columbia; brother: Thomas Riggins of Murfreesboro; and grandchildren: Alayna and Amie Riggins.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Katherine Hartsfield; and brothers: Wendell Riggins and William Robert Riggins.
