Mr. Floyd Donald Bates of Cullman passed away February 14, 2019 at the age of 87. He was born January 25, 1932 to Lincoln Justice and Lona Bates. Mr. Bates was a veteran of The United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gene Bates and Mervin Bates. Funeral services are Monday, February 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Moss Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Bethsadia Cemetery. Survivors are: daughter Sheila (Crandall) Holloway, sons Gary (Gail) Bates, Terry (Mary) Bates, Perry (Peggy) Bates, Randy (Glenda) Bates, sisters Tribie Sue Estep, Wilda Kohlenberg, brother Delwyn Bates and 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Moss Funeral Home.
