Betty Sue Lawler Fleming, age 87, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at her residence.
Betty Sue was a hard worker, who believed in doing her job right the first time. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, who loved her family very much, and will be missed by all who knew her. She always said “Precious Lord, take my hand.”
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Phil Campbell. Speaking at the service will be Bro. Jerry Wayne Lawler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Fleming; parents, Clay & Catherine (Mashburn) Lawler; and nine brothers and sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Gary Don Fleming (wife, Cindy), Deborah Susan Hand (husband, Steve), Pamela Blasingame (husband, Joey), Cynthia Kay Brearley (husband, Jay); grandchildren, Cindy Hardy, Emily Blanton, Jonathan Fleming, Summer Blasingame, Lake Blasingame, Rivers Blasingame, Dylan Hunter Brearley; four great-grandchildren, Chloe & Easton Blanton, Hunter & Harper Hardy; and several nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be Dylan Brearley, Robert Brearley, Jonathan Fleming, Lake Blasingame, Rivers Blasingame, Casey Hardy, and Casey Blanton.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
