Donald Wayne Watkins, age 73, of Vernon, AL passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Paul Barham to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Don was born on November 7, 1945 in Sturgis, MS to the late Irvin Watkins and the late Nora Livingston. He was a graduate of Sturgis High School in Sturgis, MS. Don was self-employed as a drywall and paint contractor. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar and watching westerns.
