J.C. Cooley, III, age 50, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 5:00 p.m., with funeral services following at 6:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Leonard Rigsby will officiate.
Mr. Cooley was preceded in death by his Grandparents-Louise and Mancell Parker, J.C. and Fie Cooley; Step Father-James “Julip” Freeman; Father-J.C. Cooley, Jr.
He is survived by his Mother-Carolyn Parker Cooley Freeman; Sons-Jacob Cameron Harbison and Tyler Bently; Sister-Christy Cooley Freeman (Jeremy); Brothers-Edward Cooley, Nelson Cooley (Tina) and Justin Ross Cooley; Aunt-Lawatha Nix; Aunt and Uncle-Eddie and Annette Austin; Nephews-Landon Freeman, Chace Mullinax, Cade Cooley and Eli Langston; Special Niece-Katie Freeman; Special Friend-David Nguyen.
