Denny, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was born and raised in New Jersey but has lived in Tennessee for the past nine years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Selmer and loved her church family. She was a collector of cat figurines, enjoyed her many coloring books and crossword puzzles.
Denny was the oldest of her siblings and loved her family dearly.
Miss Moditz departed this life on February 1, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 25 Days. She is survived by her father, George Moditz of Middlesex, NJ; four brothers, Bruce Moditz and wife Joanne of Neshanic Station, NJ, Pete Moditz and wife Karen of Selmer, TN, Paul Moditz and wife Claudine of South Plainfield, NJ, Alan Moditz and wife Tina of Ridgefield, WA; a sister, Betsy Rasmussen and husband Marty of Holland, NJ; personal assistant, Sally Tallant; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
