Glenda Yvonne Kimbrough Toll, 65, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away on January 29, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 20, 1953 in Sheffield, Alabama. Glenda was a member of Murphy Road Church of Christ. She served as Commander of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary for four years. Glenda’s family was her pride and joy. She loved taking care of them and encouraging them in their endeavors. Glenda was a natural caregiver to both her family and her friends. She had a great sense of humor, even up to her final days. There was never a wedding or family celebration too far away for Glenda to attend. Her famous yeast rolls at Thanksgiving will surely be missed. Her heart, her smile and her caring nature will forever be fondly thought of.
Glenda is preceded in death by her father, William Glen Kimbrough; her mother, Helen Lucile Carter Kimbrough Luksa; and an infant sister.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Walter Toll III; daughters, Stacey Teague and her husband, John, and Miranda Preuss and her husband, Cody; son, Dustin Toll and his wife, Courtney; brothers, Dan Kimbrough and his wife, Janice, and Gary Kimbrough and his wife, Judy; 12 grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of extended friends and family.
Visitation will be held ftoday, February 1, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
The funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
