Funeral service for Pernie Agnes Ward Jennings, 84, of Valhermosos Springs, will be in the Peck Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 28, 2019 with Bro. Thomas Larkin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jennings died on Thursday, January 26, 2019 at her residence. She was born June 9, 1934, in Morgan County, AL, to Percy Ward, and Venie Maude Denton, She was preceded In death by her fathers Percy ward and Marvin Kent and mother Venie Maude Denton Kent, both her husbands Arthur Murphy Sr. and James Jennings. Her son Robert “Bobby” Murphy, and her brothers Kenneth Kent and Buddy Ward.
