Mr. Bobby R. Slayton, age 80 of Huntsville, AL, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was born January 2, 1939 to Lula Mae Slayton Boedeker and J. B. Slayton in Madison County, AL. He was a member of East Huntsville Church of Christ.
Mr. Slayton is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Slayton; sons, Joel (Sharon) Slayton of Winchester, TN and David (Julie) Slayton of Huntsville, AL; and grandchildren: Ashley, Caitlyn, Edwin, Stephanie and Mimi. He as preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Joyce Ayers, Peggy Parham and Sherry Bulman.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 pm with Bill Cantell officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
