Larry Joe Bailey, age 70, lifelong resident of Madison County passed away Monday, January 21, 2019, at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by family.
Mr Bailey retired from Sledge’s Body Shop in 2011, after 34 years of employment. He loved spending time with his family, especially his Bassett Bailie.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Byram and Lela Sledge, sister Martha Greer. brother Daniel Greer, and mother Gladys Newton.
He leaves behind his wife of 48 years Judy Bailey; daughter Karen Bailey; grandson Kristopher Ballard; sister Juanna Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Jan. 26, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home.
