Mrs. Elizebeth Louise Morgan Taymon, age 73, of Arab, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
Mrs. Taymon was born on March 26, 1945 in Morgan County to Everett Morgan and Johnnie Virginia Childress Morgan. Elizebeth loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading and writing, cross word puzzles, assisting with the food ministry at her church and attending yard sales.
She was a member of Arab Christian Center.
Mrs. Taymon is survived by her daughters & sons- in-law, Myra Bailey & Gary, Libby Mondragon & Art, Genia Lewis & Phillip; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Taymon, Marty Taymon, Kenneth “Pete” Taymon, John Taymon & Stephanie; sisters, Bobbie Walker, Gennie Faye Kirby, Jody Kirby, Patsy Smith, Sherry Kelly & Dorothy Guillory; brothers & sisters-in-law, Ferrel Morgan & Linda Sue, Johnny Morgan & Star; 21 grandchildren, host of great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Everett Morgan and Johnnie Virginia Childress Morgan; brothers, David Morgan, Jimmy Morgan; sisters, Linda Morrison, Rebecca Reliford.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Brindlee Mtn. Chapel, Morgan City with Bro. Ernie Brown & Bro. John Taymon, officiating. Burial will be in Old New Canaan Cemetery, with Brindlee Mtn. Chapel & Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will include; Jonathan Wall, Phillip Lewis, Jr., Danny Carneal, Andy Bailey, Leroy Dickman & Travis Thornberry.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 at Brindlee Mtn. Chapel, Morgan City.
